Catalina Dress by Blank Slate Patterns got updated and revamped and it’s better than ever!
The Catalina features:
- Tank top or Cap sleeves
- Above the knee, below the knee and maxi length
- Optional Button front
- Elastic waist
- Pockets!
And it’s suitable for wovens and knits!
I made a woven dress with cap sleeve, and below the knee length. The floral fabric is a lightweight crepe and the skirt fabric is a stretch viscose. This dress is so comfy I just want to keep finding excuses to wear it! The viscose is so soft, it makes my bum happy! 😛
The pattern uses bias tape finish on the neckline and sleeves and I love the polished look of it!
It’s such a versatile piece and has a really forgiving silhouette that suits everyone. A true must-have!
